Toblerone cocktail recipe


Deliciously decadent and perfect for sweet-tooths, this cockail was inspired by the iconic Toblerone chocolate bar. It’s the ultimate drink to serve in place of dessert and has creamy, nutty, chocolatey flavors. Made with ice cream, chocolate sauce, honey and three liqueurs, it’s the perfect cocktail for those who enjoy an after-dinner treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

  • 30mL chocolate sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 20mL coffee liqueur

  • 20mL hazelnut liqueur

  • 20mL Irish cream liqueur

  • Garnish: strawberries and grated chocolate

Directions

  1. Prep your glass by drizzling chocolate sauce inside

  2. Add the ice cream, chocolate sauce and honey to a blender

  3. Add coffee, hazelnut and Irish cream liqueurs to the blender with ice and blitz until smooth

  4. Pour into your prepped glass

  5. Garnish with slices of strawberry and grated chocolate (a Flake works perfectly)

There’s no getting around the fact that the Toblerone is a sweet cocktail, but you can play with the level of sweetness by increasing or decreasing the amount of honey you use, to suit your tastes.

Not a coffee person? There are only very small amounts of caffeine in coffee liqueur, but if you don’t like the flavour, then simply double the amount of hazelnut liqueur, or try vanilla liqueur instead, which beautifully complements the nutty flavours of the Toblerone.
